3 Simple things you can do for Earth Day to have an impact
April 22 is Earth Day. For some this means doing a community project to improve the earth. For others, it is a reminder of how far we have come and for still others, it is a nagging pain that we have not come far enough to promote sustainability.
For those of you looking to just do something, try these easy three things:
- Start composting- a compost pile is easy to start and requires little work.
- Collect Rain Water – get a rain barrel and collect water to use for out door pots and gardens.
- Walk – try walking to your favorite activity, shopping trip or errand. It reduces emissions and promotes health.
