There is no better way to have local food then to produce it yourself. Many organizations are looking to turn grassy knolls into community garden. What better way to share your natural resources with your employees and neighbors then to create garden?
While I enjoy a wonderful little garden at my house, I am by no means an expert on how to do this, but I can introduce you to one, Roger Dorion from kitchengardens.org. Take a look at his TED talk for great information on why this could be an important step in your organizations sustainability program.
