Through my experience, I have learned that many people are curious about what sustainability is and how can they incorporate sustainability into their personal and professional lives. This blog is created as a forum to share ideas that make our businesses and personal lives more sustainable. Sustainability Speaker Bio For Cindy Wollman:
Cindy Wollman is an experienced business leader, consultant and author. She utilizes her passion for sustainability to engage business leaders in rethinking about their business for the 21 century. As a previous business owner, she understands what keeps CEO’s up at night, and speaks to business leaders about the current issues around sustainability and leads them to take action in a way that makes sense for their business. Her strategic thinking and creative problem solving help her relate to an audience with diverse backgrounds.
She is often a speaker on subjects such as leadership, sustainability strategies and change management. She is passionate about incorporating sustainability and the triple bottom line, people planet and profit practices into organizations. Through the development of people, organizations achieve the growth they envision.
She is a lifelong learner with an MBA from Philadelphia University, and her Bachelors of Science degree from Cedar Crest College. She received her Certificate in Green Purchasing through the Green Supply Chain Organization and her Project Management Certificate from Penn State Abington. She is proud to be a LEED Green Associate. She has received several awards including 2002 Pennsylvania’s best 50 Women in Business, WBENC’s Start Award in 2002 and Women’s Business Development Center’s Star Award in 2008.
She is an active member of the community. She serves on several committees at The Forum of Executive Women and The Union League of Philadelphia. She has served on the Board of The Philadelphia Union League and The Urban League. She most recently served as the President of Jenkintown Community Alliance.
She has served as an adjunct professor at Philadelphia University in their Masters of Sustainable Design Program in the School of Architecture. She has presented at several professional conferences in the United States.
